“Our favourite getaway in Sri Lanka”

"My girlfriend and I have been living in Sri Lanka for a couple of years and Green Hill has become our favourite place to stay. The view is incredible, in fact the whole setting on the side of the hill is breathtaking.

Podi is a fantastic host. He always goes out of his way to make sure that guests have what they need. He's very knowledgeable and helpful about things to do in the local area and good company too. He's also seriously good at cooking Sri Lankan food. Some of the best I've had in my time in Sri Lanka.

The rooms are always spotlessly clean. The beds are the biggest I've yet found outside of a five-star hotel here. I'm quite tall and it's nice to be able to stretch out for once. There's only a few rooms, so one of the really nice things is just being able to hang out and feel like you're at home without loads of people around.

My best recommendation from two years of living here and everyone else I know who's been has raved about it too."
